This is the face of micro entrepreneurship, Before the benefits of microcredit and microfinance services from an MFI. They are waiting for an MFI to reach their area, Missionvale, Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The closest MFI is hours away, they visited, but they lack funds to open a new branch in this shanty town community. Rotary Clubs offered to help, but with insufficient funds and a capable willing MFI, the wait continues.
